PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a self-standing bag having a hand-held part free from edges causing uncomfortable feeling at the entire circumference of the side of a bag body. SOLUTION: The self-standing bag includes a tubular trunk (11) as a bag body and a bottom (12) folded in two at a folding line (12a) which closes one of the openings of the trunk (11) and is installed in the tubular trunk (11). The bottom (12) is separated into first and second bases (12b, 12c) with the folding line (12a) as the upper limit and each of the bases has both side ends (12b1, 12b2, 12c1, 12c2) on right and left sides which are perpendicular to the folding line (12a) and bottom limits (12b3, 12c3) which are parallel with the folding line (12a). The bottom (12) is connected at side ends of the bottom (12) by bonding materials (13, 14) which bond the bases (12b, 12c) and the trunk (11) with each other, and is bonded with the trunk (11) at the bottom limits (12b3, 12c3).
