<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a folding mobile terminal, and a light storing method of an operation key of the folding mobile terminal, in which a location of a key can be constantly recognized visually even when a closed state of a casing continues for a long period of time without providing a key backlight such as an LED for making the key luminous. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The folding mobile terminal includes an operation part having a light storing part in the operation key, an operation side casing having an operation part, a display side casing having a display part, and a casing opened/closed state detection part for detecting an opened/closed state of the display side casing and operation side casing. When the display side casing and operation side casing are in closed states, the display part and operation part face to each other. The folding mobile terminal includes a control part for making the display part luminous when the casing opened/closed state detection part detects that the display side casing and operation side casing are in the closed states.
