<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem wherein it is difficult to improve performances of an electric compressor due to leak of compressed high pressure refrigerant gas from an assembly clearance of a compression mechanism part since there is technical limit in reducing assembly clearance for avoiding failure of a compressor caused by stress distortion during assembly of the compression mechanism part of a hermetic electric compressor. Ž<P>SOLUTION: In this method, deformation of a compression chamber is prevented by preventing deformation of a cylinder member by making stress distortion caused by fastening force of an assembly member such as a bolt during assembling absorbed at a bearing member side by setting elasticity of a bearing member constructing the compression mechanism part of the hermetic electric compressor higher than that of a cylinder member. Since assembly clearance of members around the compression chamber can be made further smaller by this method as compared to former technology, the hermetic electric compressor reducing leak loss of compressed high pressure refrigerant gas and having excellent performance is provided.
