PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a merchandise storage rack for a vending machine for smoothly storing merchandise, while reducing a cost by simplifying constitution of the merchandise storage rack for storing the merchandise having a catch part in a drinking port portion. SOLUTION: The merchandise storage rack for the vending machine is for selling the merchandise having the catch part in the drinking port portion, and having a soft container form, a frame body for the merchandise storage rack is constructed of vertical and lateral frame materials, a plurality of stages are laid vertical-directionally on the lateral frame material, the catch part of the merchandise is catchedly supported by a pair of right and left merchandise clamping members 31, 31 arranged with a prescribed space, the merchandise is slid by its dead weight to be suspension-stored, by inclination of lowering a rear side with respect to a front side (merchandise feed side), a merchandise support unit 30 having a merchandise carrying-out mechanism 34 is provided in a rear end part, and the clamping members 31, 31 are formed of a thin film-coated steel sheet applied with a lubricating coating film on one face, to enhance the sliding by the dead weight.
