PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vessel valve which can reduce the possibility that cracks may be generated in a vessel attachment section even when an external force such as impact is applied to the vessel valve, and its attaching method. SOLUTION: A vessel attachment section 3 is arranged in projection on the periphery of a housing body 2; a taper male screw 9 is formed on the vessel attachment section; a taper female screw 11 is formed on the valve attachment section 10 of a gas vessel 8; the vessel attachment section is fixed to the valve attachment section by screwing the male screw to the female screw; a screw length L2 of the male screw is made shorter than the interfit length of L0 of the vessel attachment section when the male screw is fastened to the female screw with a proper torque; and the maximum crest diameter d4 of the male screw is set to 105% or less of the maximum root diameter d1 of the female screw.
