PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a noninvasive method of determining pharmacodynamic effects (muscle paralytic effect, etc.) of Clostridium toxin such as botulinum toxin on muscles or muscle groups. SOLUTION: The method includes (a) a step of administering botulinum toxin to facial muscles through intramuscular injection, (b) a step of forming an imprint of distinctive skin surface in the vicinity of muscles to which Clostridium toxin is administered, (c) a step of checking the imprint, and (d) a step of determining the onset of muscle paralysis due to Clostridium toxin, paralysis at a peak, and the duration of the paralysis.
