<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle power supply unit for providing improved fuel consumption by effectively utilizing power generated by an alternator. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A control part 16 performs PWM control until the temperature of a seat heater 5 reaches a preset temperature at a first time by a predetermined duty ratio (100%, for example) when a seat heater switch 3 is switched on. After the temperature of the seat heater 5 reaches the preset temperature, the control part 16 performs PWM control by the changed duty ratio to make the detected temperature of the seat heater 5 equal to the preset temperature. Besides, the control part 16 changes the duty ratio for performing PWM control corresponding to a voltage Vb of a battery 14 detected by a voltage detection part 161.
