<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a container for pushing out applying material that are easily fabricated and ensure the pushing strength of the applying material. Ž<P>SOLUTION: In the container 100, when a body tube 2 and an operation tube 3 are relatively rotated toward a first direction, a moveable screw tube 5 advances for a predetermined amount, and when relative rotation is further carried out toward the first direction, a screwing part 9 exerts screw function to urge a moving body 6 forward. In the container 100, a front end part 5x provided with a female thread 53 of the screwing part 9 in the moveable screw tube 5 is radially outwardly expandable via a slit, so that the so-called pulling perforce can be performed in the case that the female thread 53 is formed by using a core pin for instance. Moreover, when the moveable screw tube 5 advances for a predetermined amount through relative rotation toward the first direction, the outer diameter of the front end part 5x is restricted and expansion thereof is hence prevented, so that, when relative rotation is further carried out toward the first direction and the screwing part 9 exerts screw function to urge the moving body 6 forward, it is possible to suppress expansion of the front end part 5x and hence expansion of the female thread 53 of the screwing part 9.
