<p>PURPOSE: Control device and method of a clothes handling device are provided to enable a user to accurately recognize the information indicated on an indicating unit by making the brightness of the indicating unit itself higher as the brightness of the indicating unit is high. CONSTITUTION: A control device of a clothes handling device comprises an indicating unit, a light receiving unit(320) and a controller(410). The indicating unit indicates the information related to the clothes handling device to the outside. The light receiving unit senses the intensity of the light which the indicating unit receives. The controller controls the brightness of the message indicated on the indicating unit, depending on the sensed light intensity. The controller controls the brightness of the indicating unit in proportion to the sensed light brightness.</p> |
