<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus in which an image reading section is arranged above the apparatus, while suppressing the height of the apparatus without enlarging installation area for the apparatus, and which excels in the discharge operability of a transferred material, on which an image is formed. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus 1 is provided with a case M; an image forming section provided inside the case M; an image reading section 200 provided on a top side of the case M; an upside discharge section 53 provided on the upside of the case M; a front discharge section 54 provided in the front of the case M; a first transport path L1 for transporting a sheet-like transferred material T, from the image forming section to the upside discharge section 53; a second transporting path L2 for transporting the transferred material T, from the upside discharge section 53 to the front discharge section 54; a switch-back member 50 for guiding the transferred material T transported on the first transport path L1 to a second transport path L2, by partially feeding out the transferred material T above the image reading section 200 from the upside discharge section 53, and then performing a switch-back; and a loading tray 600, provided in the front of the case M and loading the transferred member T, which is transported on the second transport path L2 and is discharged from the front discharge section 54. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
