摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reading device capable of correcting the light amount distribution of a read image, using light amount distribution data of a rod lens array memorized in advance, even if environmental temperature is changed. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The rod lens array 1 is fixed to a frame 2 by a double-sided tape 3a, so that the rod lens array 1 is hard to be affected by the impact of expansion/shrinkage of the frame 2 associated with temperature change. Moreover, an electronic circuit substrate 4 is fixed to the frame 2 with a usual screw thread near the center of the main scanning direction, but the electronic circuit substrate 4 is forced to be fixed to the frame 2 with a spring 5 at the end. Thereby, the electronic circuit substrate 4 is hard to be affected by the impact of expansion/shrinkage of the frame 2 associated with temperature change. In addition, the linear expansion coefficient of the rod lens array 1 is almost equivalent to the one of the electronic circuit substrate 4 so as to suppress changes in position relation between each rod lens and a light receiving element 41 on the electronic circuit substrate 4 caused by temperature change.
