<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gasket improving productivity while restraining reduction in sealability. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The gasket 10 is inserted into a mounting groove 51 arranged in a head cover 50, and is compressed by a cylinder head 40 and the head cover 50, being constituted to seal a clearance between the cylinder head 40 and head cover 50. A plane shape of the gasket 10 is formed in a substantially rectangular shape, and a flexible part 20 is arranged on its opposing two sides and the four corners, and a part except for the flexible part 20 is formed as a high rigidity part difficult to be deflected when compressed. A cross-sectional shape of the flexible part 20 is formed substantially in a I shape, and a cross-sectional shape of the high rigidity part is formed substantially in a T shape.
