<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a piezoelectric oscillator in which impedance matching with various electronic devices is taken into account. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The piezoelectric oscillator 1 includes: a voltage generating circuit 120; an oscillation circuit 110 for oscillating a piezoelectric vibrator 100 at a predetermined oscillation frequency on the basis of a control voltage VC output by the voltage generating circuit 120; a buffer circuit 210 for buffering oscillation output from the oscillation circuit 110; an external output terminal OUT; n pieces of (n is integer of ≥1) inductance elements L1-L3 formed from a meandering wiring pattern; and a switching circuit 200 for switching whether to connect each of the (n) pieces of inductance elements L1-L3 between an output line 211 of the buffer circuit 210 and the external output terminal OUT.
