PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an insulator, a stator, and a manufacturing method for stators wherein workability can be enhanced. SOLUTION: First and second insulator members 40, 50 includes a holding groove 45 into which a winding end terminal wire 6b of a coil 6 can be inserted from the axial direction. An anchoring protrusion 64 is provided in a position outside the radial center of the interior of the holding groove 45. The protrusion is locked together with the winding end terminal wire 6b inserted in the holding groove 45 and suppresses breakaway of the winding end terminal wire 6b from the holding groove 45.
