PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat exchanger suppressing distribution of much liquid refrigerant to a lower part in a header and improving the performance. SOLUTION: This heat exchanger 10 exchanging heat between the refrigerant and the air, includes a header 15, and a plurality of flat tubes 11. The header 15 vertically extends and the refrigerant flows therein. The plurality of flat tubes 11 extend in the direction intersecting with the header 15, and penetrate through the header 15 from an outer face to an inner face at different height positions so that their end faces are positioned inside the header 15. One of flat tubes 11 and/or other flat tube 11 in the header 15 are bent so that a height position of a first end face as the end face of one of the flat tubes 11 is close to a height position of a second end face as the end face of the other flat tube 11 or same as each other.
