PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reciprocating vibration generator which has a structure capable of buffering a collision of a reciprocating vibrator to a coil with a magnetic fluid even when receiving impact external force. SOLUTION: In the reciprocating vibration generator, an upper leaf spring 40 and a lower leaf spring 50 for supporting a circular weight 20 having a circular permanent magnet 30 formed by combining semicircular permanent magnets 30R, 30L in the inner periphery so as to allow reciprocating vibration in the vertical direction, and a cylindrical excitation coil 60 vertically penetrating the inside of the circular permanent magnet 30 to generate a reciprocating vibration magnetic field are provided in a case body 100. The semicircular permanent magnets 30R, 30L are magnetized in the direction from the inner peripheral surface to the outer peripheral surface, and the magnetic fluid F covers the inner peripheral surfaces and upper and lower end surfaces of the semicircular permanent magnets 30R, 30L and is placed between the inner peripheral surfaces of the semicircular permanent magnets 30R, 30L and the outer peripheral surface of the excitation coil 60.
