PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fire alarm system allowing simplification of work for stopping a fire alarm. SOLUTION: This fire alarm system is installed in each of a plurality of adjacent dwelling units. In a situation that the fire alarms are notified in all fire alarms of all the dwelling units by occurrence of a fire in one dwelling unit, when a fire sensing part 4 of the fire alarm of the origin of the fire does not sense the fire or when operation input of the alarm stop is received in an operation input reception part 6 of the fire alarm of the origin of the fire, the notification of the fire alarms by alarm parts 5 is stopped not only in the fire alarm system to which the fire alarm of the origin of the fire belongs but also in all the fire alarms belonging to the other fire alarm systems to which the fire alarm of the origin of the fire does not belong. Accordingly, the work for stopping the fire alarm is dispensed with in each dwelling unit to simplify the work for stopping the fire alarm, and a working time required for the stop of the fire alarm becomes short to suppress a noise suffering by alarm sound.
