PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To install a ventilating means having a necessary and sufficient ventilating capacity on a side facing a floor of a spandrel wall provided along the edge of the floor. SOLUTION: The spandrel wall B has a vertically long ventilator A opening at a side facing an outdoor floor C. The ventilator A is provided with a plurality of inclined plates 42 which have upper and lower surfaces and are erected obliquely from the opening side of the ventilator A toward the inner depth side of the spandrel wall B at a predetermined intervals. A space between the inclined plates 42 adjoining each other serves as a ventilating passage 43, and the upper end of the inclined plate 42 is folded toward the upper surfaced side to form a curved part 42b which narrows the ventilating passage 43.
