<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a semiconductor light-emitting deice capable of securing good reproducibility with respect to optical characteristics of illumination light composed of mixture light of light beams emitted from respective light emitting parts, thereby stably obtaining a desired color temperature. <P>SOLUTION: A case 3 has a laminate structure of a plurality of insulating substrates 4, 5 and 6, and through holes provided in one of the insulating substrates 4, 5 and 6 constituting the case 3 and through holes continuously provided in two or more insulating substrates are utilized to form a plurality of recessed portions 12 and 13 different in depths, and one kind of semiconductor light-emitting elements 2 are mounted in all of recessed portions 12 and 13, and all of the recessed portions 12 and 13 are filled with one kind of sealing resin 19 having a phosphor dispersed in light-transmissive resin, to seal the semiconductor light-emitting elements 2 with the resin. This configuration allows optical characteristics of light emitted from respective recessed portions 12 and 13 to be controlled with high precision by varying only the depth of each of recessed portions 12 and 13. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
