<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To resolve a feeling of uneasiness, when writing, of a side knock type writing utensil such that; although the near end portion where a gate part of a knock button is formed is so made to fit well in its position to a receiving hole but a clearance is formed between the gate part, a leg piece on the opposite side and the receiving hole and, as a result, mechanical vibration by writing gets across to the knock button while not in use or even in process of writing and, consequently, clattering sound is generated. <P>SOLUTION: The side knock type writing utensil has a window hole formed at the sidewall of a shaft tube and a knock member 12 which sends out a writing body is prepared in the window hole. The knock member is of resin material and consists at least of a sidewall part 12d and a top surface part 12c, and when forming the knock member, the gate part 12e is arranged to locate at the near end of the knock member and a protrusion 12f is formed at the sidewall part of the vicinity of the other end portion. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
