<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vacuum cleaner capable of improving more a service life by equalizing the accumulated operation times of respective electric blowers. <P>SOLUTION: The vacuum cleaner includes a cleaner body 11 storing electric blowers 15A, 15B and a control means 16 capable of independently controlling the driving of the electric blowers 15A, 15B. The control means 16 has a medium mode and a weak mode for operating the remaining electric blower 15 excluding at least either of the electric blowers 15, and a strong mode for operating all electric blowers 15. When the strong mode is switched to the medium mode (weak mode), the electric blower 15 which is not operated at least previously in the medium mode (weak mode) is operated.
