<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a controller capable of appropriately determining any anomaly in a signal line for pilot signals. <P>SOLUTION: The signal line L1 transmits a signal from a signal transmission unit 362, equipped in a charging cable 300, which sends a signal according to the state of power supply, to the controller. This signal line includes: a switching portion 1713 that connects or disconnects an extension signal line L2, extended to a power supply control unit 176 provided in the controller when the charging cable is connected to a vehicle, to or from the vehicle earth; a power supply control unit that causes power to be supplied to a control unit 177 when a power activation unit IGSW provided in the vehicle is operated to turn on power or causes power to be supplied to the control unit when variation in the signal that does not change for a certain time is detected; and a control portion that causes a power storage device 150 to be charged when power is supplied form the power supply control unit and controls the switching portion to determine an anomaly in the extension signal line when power is supplied by the power supply unit and the charging cable is not connected to a vehicle. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
