PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a walking type tillage-managing machine capable of carrying out ridging operation without using a land-leveling tool, and capable of easily changing whether the ridging is carried out or not. SOLUTION: The walking type tillage-managing machine is equipped with a rotary tiller 30, and a tilling part 5 having a ridging device 1 and arranging the ridging device 1 at the rear side of the rotary tiller 30. The ridging device 1 is equipped with a covering body 12 having the upper part attached to the rear terminal of a tillage cover 33 in the rotary tiller 3 and hung from the rear terminal of the tillage cover 33 so as to contact with the ground, and a resistant rod 6 and an engaging member 16 of controlling means 15 arranged at the rear side of the center part 12C in the right and left direction of the covering body 12, not controlling the rearward turning of both the side parts 12L and 12R of the covering body 12 and controlling the rearward turning of the center part thereof in the right and left direction. The waking type tillage-managing machine is constituted so as to be switchable between a ridging operation state of partially controlling the covering body 12 by the controlling means 15, and a not-ridging operation state of not controlling the covering body by the controlling means.
