PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mold which shows a high mold release effect without employing a mold release agent and is excellent in wear resistance. SOLUTION: The mold surface of the mold 1 is obtained by forming first metallic deposits 12a and 12b formed of metallized skins of Ni-P alloys plated on the surface of the base material 4 of the mold 1 and covering layers 11a and 11b formed of second metallic deposits 13a and 13b formed of compound metallized skins composed of the metallized skins of the plated Ni-P alloys dispersed with fluororesin particles thereon provided outside the first metallic deposits.
