TRANSMISSION APPARATUS, TRANSMISSION SYSTEM AND TRANSMISSION METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce loads of data transmission to an external apparatus by controlling transmission stop and transmission start of data from the external apparatus only by transmitting a pause frame only once.

SOLUTION: A transmitter for transmitting data received from a first external apparatus via a first network to a second external apparatus via a second network includes: a receiving means for receiving data from the first external apparatus; a storage means for storing the data received by the receiving means; a transmission means for reading out the data stored in the storage means and transmitting the read data to the second external apparatus at a predetermined transmission speed; a transmission stoppage time calculation means for calculating time required for reducing the volume of data stored in the storage means from a first threshold to a second threshold as transmission stoppage time; and a stop request frame transmission means for adding the transmission stoppage time to a stop request frame and transmitting the stop request frame to the first external apparatus.
