<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a liquid-state water cutoff agent which is injected after the terminal is inserted from infiltrating the contact portion of the terminal. Ž<P>SOLUTION: In the waterproof treatment method of a connector, a terminal 20 fitted at the tip of an electric wire W is housed in an inner housing 10, the inner housing 10 is laminated in a plurality of stages and inserted in an outer housing 40; and in such a state, a liquid-state cutoff agent S is injected and solidified from the rear end 44 of the outer housing 40 into a gap between an electric wire W, extending to the rear from the rear end of the inner housing 10 and the outer housing 40; thereby by sealing the gap between the outer housing 40 and the electric wire W, the connector is waterproofed. Prior to the cutoff agent S injection, a string 50 with hair is wound around the outer circumference of the electric wire W, located in the rear space 45 of the outer housing 40, and then the cutoff agent S is injected.
