<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a resident certainly notice disconnection of a loud-speaker of an alarm device belonging to an alarm system. Ž<P>SOLUTION: An alarm device 1 includes a loud-speaker 13a outputting an alarm by a sound; a test unit 14 periodically testing disconnection of the loud-speaker 13a; and a control unit 17 outputting a corresponding failure alarm by a sound when receiving a control signal notifying the disconnection of the loud-speaker 13a from another alarm device 1 while transmitting a control signal notifying the disconnection of the loud-speaker 13a when the disconnection thereof is detected by means of the test.
