PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify a constitution of a selecting device for selecting a large number of chip components, and to reduce the size and the cost of the selecting device. SOLUTION: A conveying device 9 for conveying a plurality of trays T, capable of storing a large number of chip components, between a plurality of processing units comprises a rotary base 41 which is rotated around the axis O1 of rotation, and movable in the direction of the axis O1 of rotation, and a plurality of conveying tables 43 provided on the upper surface 41a of the rotary base 41 orthogonal to the axis O1 of rotation, and capable of individual loading the plurality of trays T. The plurality of conveying tables 43 are arranged at an equal spacing in the rotational direction of the rotary base 41, and the conveying device 9 is advanced/retracted in the radial direction orthogonal to the rotational direction of the rotary base 41 along the upper surface 41a.
