PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively suppress creases in comparison with a conventional technique by making no use of an ink sheet bending shaft made of a metal unnecessary. SOLUTION: The printer apparatus 100 includes: an ink sheet 2 coated in an ink which advances with a recording paper P fed and performs a printing by thermally transferring on the recording paper P; an ink sheet bending shaft 7 which is the ink sheet bending shaft 7 extending in the direction Y intersecting at right angles to the advancing direction X of the ink sheet 2, bends the ink sheet 2 around the ink sheet bending shaft 7 to change the advancing direction of the ink sheet 2; and an energizing member 8 for energizing the ink sheet bending shaft 7 so that the ink sheet bending shaft 7 curves in a convex shape toward the side being brought into contact with the ink sheet 2.
