PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine making it hard for a player to obtain how many round games have been performed or how many round games remains in a jackpot game, and increasing excitement and enjoyment in the jackpot game. SOLUTION: The game machine includes a special jackpot game for specially opening an upper jackpot pocket in which the total opening time of the upper jackpot pocket is set longer than the total opening time of the upper jackpot pocket in a normal jackpot game for opening the upper jackpot pocket 48 times. When the special jackpot game is performed, a main control CPU sets a time required for each opening/closing operation of the upper jackpot pocket to be equal to a time (2,600 ms) required for each opening/closing operation of the upper jackpot pocket in the normal jackpot game or the like, until the upper jackpot pocket is opened and closed predetermined times (twice) from the start of the special jackpot game.
