PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device, method and computer program for supporting the detection of an obstacle event by which the result of detection can objectively be evaluated without being affected by the degree of skill of a user while highly maintaining the detecting precision of the obstacle occurrence event. SOLUTION: The history information of a system including a plurality of components including the log information and/or obstacle information of the system is collected, and partial configuration information as system configuration information related with a component which has transmitted an event as the basis of a symptom is extracted. The symptom acquired by adding the partial configuration information to a detection rule as additional information is stored. On the basis of the history information and the stored symptom, an event group adapted to the symptom is specified, and the partial configuration information including the relevant information of the component which has transmitted each specified event group is extracted. The goodness of fit between the extracted partial configuration information and the partial configuration information included in the symptom applied to the specification of the event group is calculated.
