<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for effectively remedying an obstructive sleep apnea syndrome (OSAS), exerting a small mental and physical load on a patient, and hardly incurring deterioration in a compliance and an adverse effect. <P>SOLUTION: A tongue position controller 1 includes: a mounting part 10 comprising a sprint 11 to be mounted on a mandibular dentition, and a capsule 12 which is arranged in an inner bending part on the upper surface of the sprint, is configured to cover at least a part of the tongue when mounting the sprint onto the mandibular dentition, and is provided with a through-hole to be positioned at the distal end of the tongue when mounted; a pressure generator 14 for generating negative pressure; and a tube 16 for connecting the through-hole to the pressure generator. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
