PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method for a battery tab which is excellent on productive efficiency under consecutive processing, and a battery tab having high short-circuit generation prevention performance.

SOLUTION: A pushing section 21a for applying burr-crushing treatment by pushing an end edge of an outer periphery of the battery tab 2a is formed on contact area between the outer periphery of the battery tab 2a and a tab film 7, and the surface of the pushing section 21a is covered with an anticorrosive coat layer 24a.
