<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To compose parallax image data with which a smooth stereoscopic image free of a sense of incongruity can be displayed. <P>SOLUTION: In an odd-numbered pixel row of longitudinal parallax image data, odd-numbered C pixel data CM are put together in the order of "right", "left", and "right" image data and even-numbered C pixel data CM are put together in the order of "left", "right", and "left" image data. In an even-numbered pixel row, odd-numbered C pixel data CM are put together in the order of "left", "right", and "left" image data and even-numbered C pixel data CM are put together in the order of "right", "left", and "right" image data. Further, the C pixel data CM put together in the order of "right", "left", and "right" is based upon right-eye image data, and the C pixel data CM put together in the order of "left", "right", and "left" is based upon left-eye image data. Those two kinds of C pixel data CM are arranged alternately in the extension direction of pixel rows to compose the parallax image data with which the smooth stereoscopic image free of a sense of incongruity can be composed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
