PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem wherein a recommendation lane cannot be guided clearly, when passing a spot to be traveled straight carefully. SOLUTION: Map information is acquired, and one's own vehicle position information showing the position of the own vehicle is acquired, and it is detected that the own vehicle has approached a traveling caution spot wherein each road before and after passing is parallel and a road after passing is not on a prolongation of a road before passing, based on the map information and the own vehicle position information. When the own vehicle approaches the traveling caution spot, guidance is performed, relative to a recommendation lane after passing the traveling caution spot corresponding to a traveling lane along which the own vehicle is traveling based on the map information.
