<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile terminal device, control method thereof and program in which remote control is performed while ensuring security. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A mobile terminal device 10 includes a remote control function. The remote control function is implemented by a determination unit 40 for determining, in response to reception or termination, whether or not a transmission source or an origination source is matched with a registered transmission source or origination source; a signal input receiving unit 60 for receiving signal input from the transmission source or the origination source when matching is determined by the determination unit 40; and a signal processing section 20 for executing prescribed processing designated by the signal input received by the signal input receiving unit 60.
