<p>In a spindle device (10), a rotating shaft (12) placed so as to be rotatable relative to a housing (11) has a rotary joint (21) for supplying fluid to one end of the rotating shaft (12). The rotary joint (21) has a rotation connection section (44) having fluid supply holes (45, 46, 47) that communicate with fluid supply paths (30d, 30e) provided in the rotating shaft (12), and the rotation connection section (44) is connected to the rotating shaft (12). The rotation connection section (44) is fastened by a bolt (37) to a rotation base section (29) of the rotary joint (21) and is axially separable from the rotation base section (29). Thus, the spindle device (10) has the rotary joint (21) that allows supply of multiple kinds of fluids, such as cutting liquid and compressed air, to the fluid supply paths (30d, 30e) provided in the rotating shaft (12), that has excellent maintainability, and that can be easily installed.</p> |
