PURPOSE: A device for impeding erosion of a firebrick in a tundish is provided to uniformly maintain the steel level in a level maintainer by forming an overflow hole in the level maintainer. CONSTITUTION: A device for impeding erosion of a firebrick in a tundish(1) is composed of a firebrick(2) and a level maintainer(3). The firebrick is arranged in a part in which the tundish is fallen. The level maintainer is formed in the outer side of the firebrick to cover the firebrick, and uniformly maintains the steel level in the level maintainer. An overflow hole(4) is formed in the level maintainer.
