A gas bottle sealing device

The present invention discloses a gas bottle sealing device for providing an indication of use of a gas bottle, the sealing device comprising a body having an outer threaded portion, an inner end and an outer end. The outer end is provided with frangible lugs and a channel covered by a means of indication of use, the means comprising a removable tab. In use the frangible lugs are detached upon installation of the sealing device to a gas bottle outlet achieving a gas tight seal between the device and the outlet, thereby requiring removal of the means of indication of use to gain access to the gas bottle outlet.
