<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a patch transferring medium with a cholesteric liquid crystal layer capable of easily transferring a patch on a body to be transferred, simply determining rightness in addition to scuff resistance and solvent resistance for protecting the surface of the medium even if repeatedly used for a number of times. <P>SOLUTION: The patch transferring medium comprises (1) a transferring material comprising a transparent substrate, the cholesteric liquid crystal layer on one face of the transparent substrate, and an adhesive layer, and (2) a supporting material provided with a releasable resin layer on a supporting substrate. A patch is prepared by applying a half cutting processing on the transferring part of the transferring material, and the patch is releasably laminated on the releasable resin layer face of the substrate.
