摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that consumption power becomes three to two with same torque and 50% of wasteful power consumption occurs in a case when a stepping motor stops in a position of a three-phase excitation pattern compared to a case when it stops in the position of a two-phase excitation pattern since motor current is necessary to be reduced and it is made to flow although little torque reduction cannot be avoided during motor stop since it is necessary to fix magnetic flux vector and to always make current flow even in motor stop as the stepping motor can obtain stop torque. SOLUTION: Intermediate one-phase in three-phase is switched to a current setting value which is about 1.6 times as much as a current setting value in the case of stop in a two-phase excitation period and it is made to flow to a motor coil of a main circuit only in the case of stop in the three-phase excitation period by discriminating a condition of two-phase or three-phase excitation during stop. Thus, the same stop torque is obtained with about 54% of power consumption compared to a case when the current setting value is not switched, and power consumption saving effect can be expected in a five-phase stepping motor drive apparatus.
