PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner having right and left wind direction adjustment plates improved in operability in laterally adjusting a wind direction manually by a user, free from generation of noise and dew condensation with good fit feeling, and having an operating section free from generation of so-called sink in molding a resin, with respect to the right and left wind direction adjustment plates disposed at a supply opening of an indoor unit. SOLUTION: In this air conditioner in which the plurality of right and left wind direction plates 10 are disposed at the supply opening 3 of the indoor unit 1 to deflect the supplied air in the right and left directions interlockingly with each other, and the operating section 14 is disposed on at least one of the horizontal wind direction plates, the operating section 14 is formed into the egg-like streamline shape thick at a windward side, and thin at a leeward side, and having the spherical shape at the whole circumference.
