PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To notify a user that a predetermined email has been received, without notifying others. SOLUTION: A cellphone includes: a receiving unit (S02) for receiving email; an email storage unit (S03) for storing the email received; an email display managing unit for displaying privacy-protected email with sender information showing a sender to which privacy protection is set among the stored email, on condition that a predetermined password is input; a determining unit (S10) for determining whether or not privacy-protected email is stored; and a pictograph display unit (S12) which, when it is determined that privacy-protected email is stored, displays a second pictograph indicating that the privacy-protected email is stored, in response to depression of a side key (YES in S08).
