PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate the operation of selecting a directional microphone and a non-directional microphone. SOLUTION: An IC recorder includes: a directional microphone which has directivity; a non-directional microphone which does not have directivity; a scene selection part 51 for selecting one of four scenes of an oral statement, a conference, a lecture and music; a first EEPROM 33 storing beforehand a correspondence table 81 in which either one of the directional microphone and the non-directional microphone is allocated to each of the four scenes; and a microphone switching part 57 for switching to the one allocated to the selected scene by the correspondence table 81 between the directional microphone and the non-directional microphone as one of the four scenes is selected by the scene selection part 51.
