<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an editor apparatus facilitating change of the address of a device. <P>SOLUTION: A host computer 2 as an editor apparatus edits image data D for displaying the state of the device 7 as a component on the screen 34 of a programmable display device 3 connected to a PLC 4 which controls the device 7.
