PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten a cooling time for a first superconductor when part of a current lead for supplying a current to the first superconductor is made of a second superconductor. SOLUTION: A superconductor cooling system 1 includes the first superconductor 10, a first cooling conductor 110 used for cooling the first superconductor 10, a first cooling device 100 for cooling the first cooling conductor 110 to a first temperature, and the current lead 30 for supplying current to the first superconductor 10. In the current lead 30, part of a current channel is made of the second superconductor 20. The superconductor cooling system 1 further includes a second cooling conductor 210 used for cooling the second superconductor 20, a second cooling device 200 for cooling the second cooling conductor 210 to a second temperature, and a first heat conducting switch SW1 connected between the first cooling conductor 110 and the second cooling conductor 210.
