PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the driving accuracy of a voice coil motor, by adding a position signal and an opposite phase of an attenuated control signal input from a signal attenuation part and outputting what is obtained by addition as a control signal. SOLUTION: A position signal correcting circuit 40 of the voice coil motor drive device includes an addition part 41, in which the position signal showing a position of a position detection sensor, provided at the center or in the vicinity of the coil of the voice coil motor, according to a sensor signal output from the position detection sensor is input and which outputs the control signal for controlling the driving of the voice coil motor; and the signal attenuating part 42 which attenuates the control signal output from an addition part 41. The addition part 41 adds the position signal and the opposite phase of the attenuated control signal input from the signal attenuation part 42 and outputs what is obtained by addition as the control signal.
