<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pump for a washing machine which is not easily blocked with lint and has an excellent water-sealing function. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The circulation pump 17 is provided with: a pump casing 25; a rotation runner 23; and a bearing plate 28 to which a water sealing seal 30 for a rotary shaft 31 and a bearing 34 are attached. The center axis of the inflow opening 22 of the pump casing 25 and the rotation runner 23 are arranged coaxially. A skirt 35 is formed by expanding from the center boss 37 of the rotation runner 23 toward the outer periphery of a runner substrate 36. An extended blade 39 is provided by extending the blade of the rotation runner 23 toward the rear surface side of the runner substrate 36. Moreover, a plurality of cylindrical ribs 40a and 40b formed on the rear side of the runner substrate 36 and a cylindrical labyrinth rib 41 provided on the outer periphery of the water-sealing seal 42 mounting portion of the bearing plate 28 overlap each other. Therefore, the lint etc. is prevented from winding onto the blade 38 and foreign objects are prevented from entering to the rear side of the runner substrate 36.
