<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a joint processing method joining both ends of a belt together. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The belt 20 has a core body composed of an oriented film. A plurality of projection parts 23 are arranged in one end part 21 of the belt 20. A recessed part 24 having the same external shape as the projection parts 23 is arranged in the other end part 22. An adhesive is applied to an outer peripheral wall of the recessed part 24. Both end parts 21 and 22 are butted so that the respective projection parts 23 are fitted to the respective recessed parts. A butting part B is placed on an anvil. A side part of the belt is pressed by a movable member 12, and the butting part B is interposingly pressed by the movable member 12 and a sidewall 11B.
