<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an agent of prophylaxis, therapy, and/or symptom alleviation for peripheral neuropathy resulting from cancer chemotherapy which is effective and safe, and can be orally administered. Ž<P>SOLUTION: Limaprosts of 15 μg or 30 μg by conversion to limaprost per day are orally administered for two weeks or 52 weeks, thereby numbness of four limbs, pain of four limbs, depletion of deep part tendon reflex, depletion of myodynamia, allodynia, hyperalgia, elaborate impairment of finger, gait disorder, false step, falling, flexing trouble (difficulty or impossibility of sitting up straight, sitting with one's legs crossed, horizontally sitting down, sitting down on a chair or the like), paralysis of four limbs or the like induced by cancer chemotherapy is improved. Therefore, limaprosts can be safe and effective agents of prophylaxis, therapy, and/or symptom alleviation for peripheral neuropathy resulting from cancer chemotherapy.
